Blower motor??

Okay, so for awhile now when I turn the knob to turn on the heat, or a.c. it makes this loud abnoxious ridiculous noise. Is it the blower motor? Any ideas on anything else it could be other then the blower motor? I am sick of that noise lol. ( I have a 99 civic ex)

Where do you hear the sound coming from? and does it make the sound on both straight flow in and circulation?

passenger side of dash like under the glove box. you hear it when you turn it on, on low it's a lot quieter unless i hit a bump or something on loud it is just ridiculous..its like a loud noise..like a leaf blower annoying loud noise..i am not good at explaining lol.. you can hear it whether its on flow or circulation..if you turn the knob to turn it on you hear it..

Probly have some dubree in your Blower motor... Take it out and check it out..

lmao..i had thought of this and tried to feel for anything but couldnt find anything.. i will recheck this out. thanks guys! :) i want to kick it everytime it makes the noise lol.

Its really easy to get to... I had to pull mine out the other day to remove what turned out to be a piece of pine straw... It had been driving me CRAZY!

u might have to pull the blower out and clear it that way.

pull it out and sounds like the blower bearing is done.... but yes some leafs can get in there but your noise sounds something like a worn out motor

the noise right? I wanted to stab my ear drums when it starts up.. it ruins a peaceful drive with some music.. imma mess up my nails lol j/k..idk if i know how to take it out lol..i might mess something up..

take glove box out...4 bolts

Take blower motor/AC housing out... ITs like 4 bolt to the firewall all together for the housings...
