From GenCoupe:

It's probably the most powerful 2.0T Genesis Coupe in the world.
Tunist, one of our affiliated performance shops in Korea, has just tested and proven parts for Genesis Coupe 2.0T to reach over 580rhwp recently.

I have just visited their shop today to witness things they have built.
The most amazing thing is it's using stock connecting rods and forged pistons I can't name them yet (it will be available through us soon).

It's running a GT35R turbocharger and all System upgrade goodies like manifold/external wastegate/BOV/pipings/intercooler/oil cooler/Intake manifold/etc

Exterior... ehh.

Turbo kit... Well I'ma start sellin' crack, y0.

Well I guess that's fast, but it's still a Hyundai.

Not bad. I'd rather know what it can make on stock internals. Anybody can make power on modified insides. Pretty impressive using the stock rods though.

I LUBBB multiple bend welds. So sexy.

Lol, I'm ordering 3 Kias next week. They've got a buy 1, get 2 free deal going on.

Not 100% sure. I'm sure within the year, we'll get a better idea of what the max potential of stock internals is. Lovefab already proved the people wrong that were saying that the 2.0T couldnt handle more than 350whp. And according to Korean tuners, the limit on stocks is around 400whp.

You and me both.

What are they using for engine management?

Not sure yet. If I'm not mistaken, it's their own piggyback system. I'll post up more info as soon as I find out.

Just take off the the graphics, and its awesome. I have always liked these since they were in concept. I couldn't care less if it was a Hyundai. This thing deserves respect.

Aren't these cars IRS, if so what did they do to the rear end?

That's amazing.

Stockwise the limit aren't very high. Not that many people are pushing over 350whp safely. But with some mods, it's sure going to be a beast. Glad to see someone got it to the 500whp mark. Now they need to beat the hell out of it on the track and see how much it can endure :)

Actually forged piston and stock rods. Im amazed how much of the stock internal parts can hold without blowing to pieces.

That's what I should have gotten. I love my cobalt but it doesn't look as sporty as the Genesis and I've had a lot of little damn annoying problems...

Oh, AND it's rear wheel drive! :headslap:

Should've gotten one... maybe I will.

I have been sandbaging on what to do engine management wise, but now I'm def waiting til' May to see whats coming. Finally something other than powerX (which is great if you live in one of 2 states with a tuner) and CMD.

Yeah, I haven't really sprung for an EMS/reflash yet, but I will this summer. There are a few options out there now but I get the feeling something better & cheaper will be coming along soon... Oh and you can't help but feel bad for the RRM NSPP guys. lol
