If you guys aren't familiar with how we are choosing our next location, we are basing it on our Facebook sign up's. The most from an area by July 10th get's next crack at RPM. Right now it's L.A. in the lead (but we already doing that), Chitown 2nd (doing that one too), Florida coming in strong at #3, Nor Cal & Jersey ...comin in just shy of Florida right now. Of course, this could change so get your friends to fan RPM.

new update...

RPM goes to sleep and we wake up to see Houston destroying everyone out there with requests for RPM to come to their town. Remember though... it's not based on chatter, but overall number of Facebook fans. L.A. #1 right now, Chitown #2, but we are goin there already, Texas slides into #3 spot overnight so Texas ...keep it up, Florida / Atlanta close behind. Where's the Northeast? Where's the Northwest? Represent!

Right now Houston is killing everyone for that third show. We need to get Atlanta into the mix and show our love for the scene.

Houston is the US' fourth largest city with a population of 2.2 million people. Atlanta? 33rd with ~500k.. Thus,

fuck your popularity contest. No chance even if all of IA signs up :lmao:

In that case, you can include the areas surrounding Houston as well including their big ass bay.. try 10 mil.

Don't get me wrong, I have "Atlanta Pride", it's just there's no denying that Houston have way more people in the scene..

So I read the About section I don't see how this is going to be any different then their old series HIN.

We don't have to beat Houston just other cities who may also want the show to come to their city and seeing as how Atlanta is mentioned in the top 5 I would think that they have a pretty good chance. If you are too good to come to a car show then you don't have to come. Please don't confuse IA.com NOOB with being new to the scene.

down_shift that was not directed at you it was actually directed at Ecko. It may not be very different from HIN but I guess some of us did not mind HIN. Sure it was not a perfect show but it was one of the best out there. What are some of your issues with the old HIN show series? Maybe we can raise them with RPM and make it a stronger show series.

Wow, really? That's the kind of attitude that keeps shows away from Atlanta. It's not a "popularity contest" and that comment was rude and unnecessary, and Atlanta isn't competing with Houston, cuz the scene is much bigger there. Like Mark said, Atlanta is one of the cities RPM is looking to come to, based on overall response. Hopefully, more shows will start coming back to Atlanta.

Mark, thanks for posting about this. I hope RPM makes it to Atlanta.

Honestly it looks to be the same tired crap the HIN, Nopi and all the other have been pushing for a while.
