I've found a couple places that do half price sushi around metro Atlanta. One is Paul's restaurant in peachtree hills area (buckhead/Atlanta) on Tuesday nights and Atlantic Seafood Company in alpharetta on Wednesday nights. Both places offer really high quality sushi. If anyone else knows any good sushi deals, post them here!

That would be Ru San's and their crab stick tempura is great. Went to school right there at Medix and ate there several times a week.

A buddy of mine lives out in Loganville so I will have to try that place out next time I head out there. I always stop for sushi if the place looks good.

Ru Sans at Piedmont Road too... that is the one that I have always gone to in downtown ATL. The buffet is gross and always makes me feel sick after I eat it. I get the stuff made to order and stay away from the fried roles. I like this place for the crazy yelling for saki-bombs and the cheep sushi.

I live in North Georgia (Hiawassee) so I drive into the city for some action every once in a while... If I am in Buford for shopping I go to Momoya for sushi (http://www.momoyaga.com/momoya/bufordmomoya.aspx?restaurant=9&location=) (its expensive and not that great though IMO)

I have been to MFsushi in buckhead (http://www.mfbuckhead.com/index.html) and it was amazing... but I was there VIP with friends of the management and probably won't be back there unless I hit the loto or something.

Shokatini (sp?) in Athens is AMAZING, great atmosphere, private rooms, the food is AMAZING and quality service. It's pricey but worth every dime.

Yeah, about an hour from my house (up in Ohio now) there is a Japanese grocery store that is just like the ones in Japan. They have Sushi grade fish laid out like Publix does meat. So I pick up ingredents a couple times a month and have sushi night. That dinner only costs about 25ish. Spicy tuna and Flying fish roe for me and salmon/cream cheese (philly roll) and salmon roe for the wife.

If anyone ever heads north on 75 there is a place in Knoxville right off the highway called Makino Japanese buffet,(big sign right near the highway) as soon as you see it get off. Its $15 before 6 adn 18 after. During the week its full buffet with crab legs and grilled short ribs emm with a tepenyaki area where you can order ribeye, shrimp, scollops or chicken with the shrimp and ginger sauces. On the weekend they evidently have a huge sushi buffet area, during the week you just order whatever you want off the sushi menu. You can even order sushimi adn a pile of different rolls along with a seared Tuna plate and even soft shell crab roll which is usually at least $8 at any others if not more.

LOL, I sound like am advertising for my own rest. It was just that damn good at an excellent price.

I agree with that. I visit Joey, the sushi chef, at least 2 times a month for lunch because its so close to my job. Definitely some of the best sushi in Atlanta. Ask Jackie, the owner, for some of the rolls that are not on the menu. They are bonkers delicious.
