ok, the car is a 91 civic with a jdm b16 swap, pr3 ecu and everything is wired correctly and no c.e.l.'s. the problem is, while driving long distances at a steady rpm, the car will start losing power and bucking like it isnt getting fuel if i keerp the throttle in the same position but when i give it gas it will jump to regular power and feel normal untill i let off and return to a stable position, it will do it again. ive found a solution is while the car is still in gear turn it off then turn it back on and that will fix the problem for like another 20 mins but then it will start again untill i turn the key on and off again. what could the problem be?

maybe the vtec solenoid. or maybe a dirty maf

can't see a vtec solenoid causing that but weirder things have happened...i would look into a fuel issue.

maybe a really clogged fuel filter, could be a bad O2 maybe? You got any codes?

He stated no CELs but I was thinking the same thing too. Fuel pump intermittently cutting out?

I've had somewhat of the same problem before. Try this disconect your O2 sensor and drive it and see if your problem continues..If the problem stops oviously replace the O2. Also are you running 2 O2 sensors or just one? If that doesn't make the problem stop then maybe you have a bad dizzy or fuel pump.

check your fuel filter, my aunt had the same problem with her accord and she replaced it and the problem went away

yeah no check engine codes and it has a brand new fuel filter on it. i think i might try to disconnect the 02 and see if that changes anything, btw it has 2 o2 sensors and its a obd0 crx si harness

MAFS are for Nissans, MAP sensors are for HONDA :D, so check ur MAP

is your CEL even working?

x2, if its any O2 sensors or anything im sure your CEL light would come up.

agreed, sounds like a fuel or maybe MAP problem. on my si the MAP sensor hole was covered by a home made gasket and it would stall going down the road and never throw a cel except for random O2 CEL's. also i thought most obd-0 cars only had the one o2 seonsor like a 1 wire or something. i don't know about the si harness.

sounds like a fuel pump problem to me. check wiring and all that good mess. also check the pcv valve and what not.

it has no pcv, just a breather filter, and all i use is shell 93 octane.
