What video card would you all reccommend for me to get under the 150 price range? Im looking to go pick one up at lunch today.

Thanks a bunch.

You can try an ATI Radeon 9800 or 9800 pro, if that's in the retail price range.

Actually, the only difference between the 9800 and the 9800 pro (assuming they have the same amt of memory on them) is the firmware, so you can flash a 9800 to 9800 Pro spec.

The 9600XT has clock speeds that are comparable to the 9800, it just has less pipelines. 9600XT is around 150-180

The Nvidia 6600GT fucking screams too

Depends on what you are looking at doing. If it's extreme gaming than go Radeon, it's the most supported brand. 9800 series is recommended
