The UnOfficial IA Swap Meet! (First Meet of its Kind... I think)

Okay so Ive had this idea for a while now.


This meet would give a chance to have everyone bring items they want to sell in person at a meet once a month. Anything from video game junk to automotive parts (excluding illegal items and/or guns) Meet up with people, hang out and make some money! Like a huge in person Garage Sale... no scamming just straight up cash and in person exchange!


We can do this once a month or bi-monthly?

What does everyone think?


I have a few locations in mind and would get clearance to have everyone come out.

i hear ya. calhoun does this at the drag strip but i think its mostly older v8 stuff. it would be a drive for you guys to get up here for it though

I dont know if it still goes on but I know once a month they did this across from road atlanta in braselton. It used to get decently packed in too from what I remember.

I think it's a good idea. Monthly, or every other month would be right. Finding a place for free is a bitch. Check for parks on the south side of lake lanier, like Lanier Park, Mary Alice Park...Here's a link. http://www.lakelanier.com/parks/ The ones with all green checks usually have large parking lots, and this time of year aren't very crowded because no one is swimming yet. Maryt Alice park has always been a great park for our old skool meets, but they do have like a three dollar cover charge. PM me if I can help out in any way!

How about stone mtn park. 1. small fee to get in. 2. huge parking lots every where. 3. grill out in the process. 4. anyone that has kids can send them off for fun while people swap things. Just an idea....
