i have recently bought a 98 integra four door. The car came with a viper car alarm system, but the owner broke the remote. is it possilble for me to go to the dealership or someplace and buy a viper car alarm remote and it'll work? or am i going to have to replace the whole system?

depends on the model of the alarm, you can usually find new remotes on ebay

yeah you can get remotes from many places, if you don't know how to program the remote for your system, take it to a Viper alarms dealer, they will be able to sell you a new remote (and charge a ton for it) but then they will usually program it to your car for free. Worth checking into if you don't know much about alarms.
