SOLD~!!! thanks IA
I've got a d16z6 running off of a chipped ecu i've had for a while, i realized that there is no reason for me to have a chipped ecu anymore (car used to have a b16a) so I figured i'd throw it up for a trade for a GOOD virgin p28 plus like $30, and let someone who needs a chipped one get it.

Ecu is a p06, chipped and wired for vtec (so it's exactly like a chipped p28)
I can also burn a chip with any basemap on it, and will include a chip with the trade.
Ecu is IN MY DAILY DRIVER, so i can't ship, only meet and swap.
Price is a p28+$30obo.
I'd also take a p06+$50obo, but i'd rather have a p28.
If i have to put a straight price, i'd say $200, because i want to trade lol.

PM me or call/txt 478-538-4037
LOCATED IN WARNERROBINS,GA.
Willing to drive short distances to trade.

was the car tuned on this chip, or is it just a ebay fake mugen chip, if it was chiped and tuned for another car why would anyone want that you just cant put a ecu that was tuned on a diff motor and expect it to run good it would have to be retuned for that car/motor

wow.. read the thread lol
"I can also burn a chip with any basemap on it, and will include a chip with the trade."
in other words.. anyone who wants to trade... like for example someone who has just done a motor swap, or just turbo'ed a motor, could trade, and i'd burn them a chip, using crome, with any basemap on it.
With a stock motor, the crome basemaps are plenty good to run on, in fact that is what my car is on now. On heavily modded/boosted motors, a basemap would be good enough to get the car to a tuner to get a real tune, in which case you would need a chipped ecu in order for them to tune it anyways.. hence why i have offered mine up.
Even if it was an ebay chip... its still a chipped ecu, which is why its up for trades. Chipped means you could burn a chip to run any D or b series engine.
I honestly didnt know how to respond to your post, i hope i answered your questions and left most of the sarcasm i was feeling out lol

First you need pics. Secondly, i'm right with the other poster as far as buying a chipped ECU already chipped for another car. most chipped ECUs ive used not specifically for my setups, have ran decent but why halfass it? You didn't say originally it was tuned on chrome. Thirdly, (this is my issue mainly) is if you want a virgin ECU but can chip any base map, why are you selling it and just not rechipping?
FYI You can get p06 ECUS converted to p28 all day for $125.

Wow. Did your mother do crack when she was pregant with you? I'm not exactly sure what you just rambled on about, but I think you just said this ECU is worthless. If so, your mother did in fact do crack while you were in the womb. A socketed ECU (which this is) allows chips to be burned and placed into the socket. A basemap burned onto the chip, means the motor will run safely, but not to it's full potential. The chip included in this sale can be reburned, therefore you buy this ECU, take it to a tuner, and he will then reburn a tune specifically to your car onto the same chip. To have a tune put on your car, unless you're using a piggyback such as a SAFC, you will need a socketed ECU. This is perfect for ANYONE with mods to a B/D/H series motor, althought a OBD2 to OBD1 conversion harness will be needed for OBD2 vehicles. The OP has a STOCK d16z6, having a socketed and chipped ECU is useless to him, so he's trying to pass on a useful part.

yeah i guess i should have mentioned that this ecu is "socketed", i assumed that was self explanitory...

it honestly took me a minute to figure out what you meant, i almost responded "i've got a fart can and a chipped p06!" lol sorry, this thread is bringing out the smartass in me apparently.
But i'm not really interested in a trade unless its got some cash in it too. thanks anyways though
