if it was just his info that was my first thought, but when I found other peoples documents......this made me really wonder and confused me on what to do with them....anyway thanks for the good input guys!

Correct. IN the eyes of the law he didnt do anything wrong or illegal to you. You simply didnt check the car out enough that is your fault not his. Its BUYER BEWARE not SELLER BEWARE. No one forced you to trade.

well it honestly has WAY more invested into it than my car did, he just didnt take care of it and I just had to do all the routine maintenance that should have been done, now that its fixed, its simply amazing.....hatch was 200whp, del sol is 400whp and I havent touched the peak hp yet...

I'd turn all the paperwork into the police, say you bought the car from "his name" and explain you tried to get in touch with him but can't, say you found all this paperwork including stuff from these two people you don't know and let them give him the papers, then if he is doing anything wrong you turned him in too. lol
