Aragon replaces Hungary on calendar

By Pablo Elizalde Thursday, March 18th 2010, 15:39 GMT

Spain will host four MotoGP races in the 2010 season after the cancellation of the Hungarian Grand Prix, it was announced on Thursday.
FIM, motorcycling's ruling body, said the Hungarian race will not take place as expected as the the construction work of the Balatonring circuit will not be finished on time.
The Hungarian round will be replaced by a race at the Motorland Aragon circuit, which was a reserve when the 2010 calendar was announced.
The circuit joins Jerez, Valencia and Barcelona as the fourth Spanish track on the calendar.
Hungary was originally scheduled to be on the calendar last year, but it requested the grand prix to be rescheduled for 2010.
The Motorland Aragon round will take place on September 19.

I'll be honest, as silly as it is to have 4 GP in one country, i feel this new Aragon track is better than what i saw in the new Hungry track. Here's some footage of it.

That's actually a pretty cool track it seems.

I agree. I should be bitter about 4 GP in one country but i like this place much more than Jerez and Valencia.
