I was told by a Transmission Rebuilder that Short Shifters mess up the syncros after a while.
True or False :???:

false. its all in driver error. take your time and get used to shifting with it shorter and when you have learned whats changed you can start to slam gears again.....but if you start slamming gears right away before you have learned it you could mess up the syncros.

not true, i had one in a trans for a long time. My first trans had over 100k miles with a short shifter. Now certain short shifters wear out depending on the material it was made of, specifically aluminum ones are junk.

Actually they are longe;, making the shift distance shorter by added leverage because of the area below the ball being longer. But they are secretly gay.

Added leverage = more leverage and stress on the transmission parts you're shifting.

UMMM NO. You can only put it into gear so far. Just like having a longer breaker bar to loosen a bolt, it doesn't damage the bol,t it is just easier. Just retards not used to the decreased shift distance and gait and grinding the shit out of the trans until it gives in.
