Thoughts on God Of War for PS3

I've never played any of the gow series but I'm really impressed with this. However .......

The game is apparently having huge issues with freezing. I played 20 minutes and had the game lock up after I beat Poseidon . Restarted my console, same thing. If you google "gow 3 game freezing" a ton of topics are coming up people are seeing lots of issues. One Sony rep said to delete your saved game file and start over which I'm trying now. Others said return it an try another copy, but most say it doesn't fix it......


Anyone else have this problem?

Ok deleting saved game and replayimg seems to have fixed the issue

looking forward 2 picking up my copy today. ^^ vtec kidd u should def get the collection set and go thru GOW 1 & 2, trust me its worth it man.

Mike i didnt have ONE problem with my GOW3 game. but i'm glad urs is working now and HOW in the HELL u go get part 3 and havent played part 1 or 2??? U can ONLY get the FULL experience from playing 1 and 2 FIRST, THEN play this one!

i played GOW 1 - 2, i really woudl like to play 3... thats one game that they really cant screw up....

bought it yesterday....about 4 hours into it...after playing and beating Dante's Inferno a few weeks ago it does feel quite similiar but much better...the graphics are incredible...

God Of War Series is one of the best in SONY's Line-up and I've waited a few years for this one to drop and it's better than I expected. .

I'm surprised that it didn't get the AO rating. The game is probably by far the most brutal I've played, aside from Manhunt (which is not even that gory), Condemned (same as manhunt), and of course, most M rated games.

the game was amazing, but it took me around 10 hours to beat, the story like was amazing though. i give it a 10-10
