So I pulled my plugs today on the new engine and the plugs are already black. I have only ran it maybe twice for no more than 20 seconds. Anyone have an idea of what this could be? I know it means it's running rich but for it to happen so fast I'm kinda worried.

I do only have one o2 hooked up at the moment.

Black soot. I asked on another forum and they said it's partly from starting it so much for short periods of time. The plugs never get hot enough to burn the carbon off.

And kl's are naturally rich motors from their injector/manifold design. So I should be ok.
