Any input on the Protection Plans from Best Buy?

I'm purchasing a Samsung TV (Plasma), and I'm torn over the Protection plans. The TV is on sale for $539.99, and the Best Buy protection plans are priced as follows: 2 year/$99.99 or 4 year/$139.99.

Is it worth it to purchase the Protection plan? Or just take my chances with the manufacturer's limited warranty?

^^^ What he said. Use a credit card that 'extends' the manufacturer's warranty, which is usually 1 year. Bam. you have 2 years coverage right there.

Plus most TV's will show issues within the first year of ownership, so you're covered for a while.
