I would swap out that 420a for the 4g63 and boost it.. I had a 420a in my Neon and also one in my Dodge Avenger. Didn't like them...

the 4210a is good to work with in a neon... very cheap to modify, and throw a 2.4 head on it, and you have a good amount of added power. And you can get those heads in the yard all day..

Unreliable doesn't make a car a DSM. And no, 420as do not have potential like a 4g63. Period.

Not trying to be a dick....but you're insanely wrong about the 420a. I think there's a reason it only came non-turbo fwd. They can make power with a good build, but a 4g can make the same amounts(probably more actually) than a fully built 420. I like it in my brothers neon, but it's not like I'm going to pull my 4g out of my Talon for one lol.
