ok so i just traded my old car for a 91 civic si and it has 6k hids.im nwe to the hid game so my question is, why does the left light keep flickering and going on and off? it not all the time or constant but when it does happen, its very annoying, does this mean the bulb is going bad or about to blow or is it a bad ballast?

i did and all the connections are tight and snug, the grounds are good and it all looks legit! can these hid bulbs go bad or do they blow like regular bulbs?

IT could be a ballast, bulb, or your fuse. Flickering usually means there is a lack of power to the ballast. Since it is a 1991 vehicle, you need to upgrade your light fuses in the vehicle to brand new fuses with 15amp per side. If it is only one fuse for both lights, then 30amp. Essentially, what happens is the metal of the fuse wears down over time to the point it chokes the power...the same if you power too small of a gauge power/ground wire to a high powered audio amplifier. The fuse does not have to be popped to be an issue. Hope this helps.

Yes, it could. Most vehicles have seperate fuses for each side. Usually, you will have 4 fuses in total. One left low beam, right low beam, left high beam, and right high beam. This does vary based on the vehicle.
So I would say this should be step 1 in fixing your issue. Worst case scenerio, if you are near Norcross, GA anytime...bring it by and we can test it.
