alright i have a 85 civic 1.5 the EW1 motor. im not trying to do anything fancy just get it to 100% right now it runs ok, but will not ideal less then 1800 rpms i know its a vacuum leak but my main question is if i capped off every vacuum thats not a major one will it still run properly. mainly the vacuums that go to the black boxes.

any thoughts on this?

If you cap off all of the vacuum lines, the car will not stay idling. You have to press the gas peddle when you are stopped, to keep the car running.

seeing its a carb i dont think all those extra vacuums matter. on all the chevys i owned ive always capped off the useles vacuums whiching being a carb all it need to be is fuel and power to the dizzy. and the vacuum for the dizzy and choke,
