What's not impressive about a 4500 lb car doing 12's with only a tune?
car ran a 13.84 bone stock @ 100 2.09 60'
first tune, playing with the timing and a/f and torque management the car went 13.52 @ 101.89 2.04 60' the factory timing was only 9 degrees!!!!!
2nd tune raising the rev limiter from 6250 to 6500 rpms and playing with the launch it went 13.13 @ 104.16 1.88 60'
this last tune, was in the 10's a/f for safety and increased the boost about 4-5 psi, timing was dropped back down
car went 12.75@108 with a 1.90 60', the tune hasn't been dialed in on the street yesterday, it has a couple of flat spots and once it's dialed in i think there are at least 2 more tenths there on a pump gas tune,
should be able to get the car down to 12.5's or 12.4's on a pump gas only tune with no other mods,

I always thought they'd stick with the Crown Victoria because it's so rugged and simple. It's everything they need in a cop car...nothing more, nothing less.
