FIXED!!! BIG SHOUT OUT TO FOLLOW.....READ MY LAST POST!

Hey IA, I'm putting this out there, begging for someone to help out a fellow IA member.

I am stranded at the Marriott Macon City hotel, I'll be here til Thursday night.

My Toyota Aristo's starter has died on me, the solenoid is stuck open, so whenever there is juice to it, the starter is turning the motor, even with the key out of it. My tech says I need to disconnect the battery (I DID) and replace the starter.

He says that virtually ANY starter from ANY 2JZ motor should work. This includes turbo and n/a cars. So any starter from 93 and up Supra, GS 300, IS 300, and many others should work.

If anyone has a new or used one on hand and is willing to come put it on for me, I would be glad to pay you for your gas and time, if you really need it. I am a long way from home and I have no idea how to do this myself.

So if you can help me out, or know someone who can, please call me ASAP at 912-266-2455, anytime, no matter how late it is.

Thanks in advance and I REALLY appreciate anyone who can help me out.

Brian

i say either roll start the car or let the starter start the car since that part still works and then pull the fuse for the starter and drive home.
