I have the same gun in stainless. I downgraded from 2 glocks and I thought I would hate it. But honestly I love this!! No qualms about it at all. Shoots great, carries great, it'll take whatever BS ammo you throw in it. Good all around hand gun. Taurus turned me into a believer.

^^^Yeah the sigma TRIGGER is dog shit. You made the right decision.
fixed.

fixed.

Agreed. But the reason the trigger is the way it is, is because it doesn't have a safety. It was designed the way it is on purpose....doesn't mean the trigger feels good though.

Oh, also, I was at Franklin's Armory in Athens yesterday and they are selling the Sigma for $320 with a $50 rebate or 2 additional magazines....Tough to beat that deal, shitty trigger or not.

academy had them for 299.99 with the same deal...something about a law suit on them so they had to get rid of all of them and the new one are out at academy they look pretty nice...

That is a fair statement. It did never cease to fire. Just wasn't pleasant to shoot.

The trigger on the Sigmas are really easy to mod. Took 2 springs out on mine and it feels 10x better. Still feels a little long, but it does feel a hell of a lot lighter.

im with svt, ive owned a for taurus and o got rid of them, seem very low end.
I have owned a sigma and a pt145. correct about the trigger pull on the sigma is tough, but like already stated its a easy fix. the milleniums seem like your squeezing the trigger forever before bang. got rid of both of them.

That law suite happened YEARS ago. Glock sued for copyright infringment so S&W changed the design og the trigger and used a round firing pin Instead of square. I bought my sigma about 3-4yrs ago and it was a post-law suite model. I'm wiling to bet that no shop has the first gen models for sale.
