I still have my stock wheels which I want to put some decent tires for auto x events. They are 6.5" wheels and stock they have 215/60R15. This will be my first season doing auto x, so I am new to this.

Power wise I am only pushing right now about 194rwhp and with ECU soon maybe around 210whp.

On my G35 wheels (DD wheels) I have Kumho Ecsta ASX 225/45R17 on front and Dunlop Direzza DZ101 255/40R17 on the rear.

Any input is appreciated!

Only size they have is 205/50R15 for the RT-615 and thats a bit too small

I rather keep the dz101 over the es100s.

Try the bridgestone RE-11. The reviews are awesome and a step up from the falken RT-615 i run for my DD.
They have the sizes for your 17" rim but @ around 200 a piece plus install I'd say go with the 15" and give them a try.

I just had to buy one of those tires for my boys EVO. There were only 2 left in the size i needed. They are discontinued so if your buying a set, you're prob getting the last set.

What are you looking to spend? That's the #1 factor. There are TONS of tires out there. You can have your cake and eat it too...meaning you can buy a good set of tires for your 17"s and still be able to autoX (it doesn't really hurt tires with treadwear more than 100). With those 17"s you can run a bunch of different sizes... 225-45 235-40 245-40. Once you establish a price range, it'll be easier to help you. The problem with the 15"s is getting a decent tire. I think a 205 will be too narrow, and you could stuff a 225 on there...but a 6.5" rim is going to suck and a larger car like the J.
