I know all of this. I know half the Honda owners give a bad name. I am not a real Honda hater. I personally would rather have a Porsche, but I'd want it modified. Not to beat or talk shit on Hondas, I just love the cars, the sound and how they do on a track.

Yeah there are fast and very nicely modified porsche too,but to say that no hondas can be fast isnt a true statement because when it comes down to it any car with the right setup and money can be fast

Well I was just clearing up the confusion and yeah i understand what your saying about porsche i just have a love and a passion for what most of my friends and family call "POS" hondas and i always will not saying anything bad about porsche either I'm just saying its amazing what you can create with the right honda and a small budget

Let's just say, you can build a Honda to outperform a Porsche (excluding super cars) with the right amount of money...

It all depends on the person, if they want to buy a Porsche (and brag they have the money to do so) and have all of the luxuries then that's their business.
If a person wants the bragging rights of building their own car and having the same handling and power as something along the lines of... Let's say a Porsche then I have props to them.

I always look at cars as business decisions. When I started I couldn't afford anything so I hustled. I did own hondas cause I liked them and I was drawn to crxs. But as I got older it was always about "how much money will I lose or make if I sold this car today"

that's always kept me from spending a ton of money and I've always kept my projects from getting away from me money wise. I usually barter , steal legally, trade etc to get parts for my cars. Or I happen to know people that give me good deals like skunk2. Or I have people like Charles and James and mainstream just do really good work for a reasonable price.

The only car that ever cost me money was my 2jz 240. I had $15000 in it and I think when it was all said and done I made $9000 back after the motor blew up. Any other car I've always at least broken even on.

I won't ever buy a supra or something like that it's just not my style. I dot even really want to put that kinda money in a $20000-30000 car it's just not a wise investment. I try not to spend or go over $10000 in Any car I build or invest in cause the last time I did that I lost my ass.

I would rather own a jrsc crx as a play toy than a 700whp supra . I'd drive Roxie car as a daily but not my fast car lol

I justbought a bike so thaw my focus for now. Maybe an ls1 s15 in the future or something with a v8

Let me asy this pertaining to the latest argument...

While I love the R8....beautiful cars...but I see FAR MORE Audi R8s then I do GT3s, GT2s and have only seen one GT3-RS crusing around Atlanta. I mean, comparing the top-of-the-line from Audi and Porsche. Actually, I see more R8s then the afrementioned Porsche models combined.

As for that video of the all-mighty pile of plastic crap aka the ZR-1 beating the other cars, I suggest the other video with better drivers and no bias...the 997 GT2 takes the ZR-1 from a dig and the ZR1 only pulls on the GT2 for just a moment while the turbos spool up and then the distance stays even. Build quality on a Corvette is still disppointing. GT2>ZR1. Besides, a GM v8 always sounds the same..if it's in a truck, a Corvette or a Camaro...they all sound the same..if you were to close your eyes you wouldn't be able to say if its a car or truck. You know what the flat-6 of a Porsche sounds like? A Porsche....distinctive on to itself....one ALWAYS knows the sound of a 911 and know it can only be a 911.

Yes I know that Audi and Peugeot use diesel and that diesel is all about TQ...but that requires gearing the car specifically for accelerating with TQ.

Most publications continue to pick a Boxster over the BMW Z4 and S2K and have done so since 1997 when the Z3 was around.

And most will agree around a track the S2000 is better than the boxster and Z4.

The 944 is a great chassis, tons of potential, but it's a pile of shit engine.

The 924 is just a POS all around.

I've never been a huge fan of front engined Porsches, the 924 and 944 both were however pretty good cars. The 944 turbo is pretty fast out of the box and the NA versions are still popular in racing to this day.
