Has anyone ever done it? What kind of compensation did you receive? I'm looking to do this to make a little extra money and help some people out at the same time.

I got $40/trip, and then $170/trip after i finished my anthrax series. They let us go twice a month but your center may vary. First visit takes a while (paperwork) and the places are always ghetto and full of shitty people waiting to donate, because they need the money. After that, it was maybe an hour total inside.

any places close to paulding or cobb county? Where did you go to? I wouldn't mind $170 a trip.

WTF is plasma. It's the yellow-colored liquid component of blood, in which blood cells are suspended.

basically the non-cellular component of blood. The "volume" so to speak.

Blood plasma is the yellow liquid component of blood, in which the blood cells in whole blood would normally be suspended. It makes up about 55% of the total blood volume. It is the intravascular fluid part of extracellular fluid. It is mostly water (90% by volume) and contains dissolved proteins, glucose, clotting factors, mineral ions, hormones and carbon dioxide (plasma being the main medium for excretory product transportation). Blood plasma is prepared by spinning a tube of fresh blood containing an anti-coagulant in a centrifuge until the blood cells fall to the bottom of the tube. The blood plasma is then poured or drawn off.
