I applaud you for that and respect that. I never really look at having kids as being less active. Actually, probably more active now than when I was 27 and my daughter was born.

I don't have any biological kids. But I have a bunch that seem to think they're mine lol. But I think of them as mine as well since I'm always spoiling them. Especially one of my ex's, her daughter is more or less mine.

This attitude my friend is why you will never grow up. You might think this whole car thing with the active lifestly is great, but nothing trumps having a kid. The day my son was born all my heavy car crazed days just sort of vanished, because I realized what the meaning of life was. So you keep saying you dont know if your every ready for kids, cause will what you posted you still are one.

thats your opinion, i cant say having kids and sitting at home with a wife on a saturday night watching sex in the city is better or worse than what i do now cause ive never experienced it. i do know a few months back i got out of a long term relationship and now im enjoying myself and having some fun. if you want to call me a kid solely on these statements then thats your issue but it doesnt bother me and ill keep being a grown ass single man with no kids that handles his business and loves his life. the biggest problem in my life is picking out a box of cereal at kroger once every two weeks and i dont want/need anything thats just gonna complicate my life beyond that :D

A marriage is what you make of it. I've been married for 10 years now and you see that I'm all over the place. My marriage is hardly complicated at all. I still have fun and (along with thousands of other grown, married men) still do my thing. With my CVCC and all.

But I can't knock your choices and don't see you as any less of a man just because you don't want to settle down or have children. I don't see any moral wrong being done there. I will say that I couldn't imagine NOT having one. Once you die, your family lineage is dead. Your ancestry ends with you. Later, QD.

i have two boys, amari just turned 7 last week and asiah will be 2 weeks old tomorrow :D plus my girlfriend has 2 girls that i love like they're mine anyways (joniah - 9 and nuriah - 6), so that's 4 all in all...

and yup kids are really a blessing. i can't imagine life without them, they make all the hard work worthwhile. i still stay active and get to do what i want to do...it's just that your priorities change once kids are involved. still, i totally respect a person who decides not to have kids until they're ready, because that's being responsible too. better that, than being a deadbeat parent for sure...

I get this all the time.

I adopted a dog when I felt the desire to raise and take care of another life, but atleast I can count on him dying in under 15 years. I have crossed into my 30's and my opinion still has not changed. I just don't think reproducing is meant for some people. But that is also not to say it's an honorable decision as most everyone has seen a family as "allegedly" fucked up as anyone else that has chosen not to participate in the breeding experience.

Sorry parents but childbirth is no more of a miracle than eating food and having a turd slide out of your ass, it's a biological function. It's not brought forth by a holy spirit, or graced into your lives. Unless you feel the same way after you wipe your ass. If you bust a greasy load, all up into some warm wet coochie. Chances are, you might be a father soon. It doesn't make you a fucking hero. Any asshole can do that, and take a look around your communities and the assholes are spreading like wildfire. The only "miracle child" I have ever seen, was one that could keep their mouth shut in a movie theater or at a dinner table or when adults are having a conversation period, THAT is a fucking miracle.

Apparently the ones that actually "plan" for children, are the heroes.

And "most" of my family's and friends kids seem like that "gift of life" is a one way street of expensive wants and desires, new cellphones, playstations, brand name clothes and shoes. With nothing in return but "sass-mouth" and an empty refrigerator. And that isn't even going into the terrible teenage years. I personally couldn't care at all about continuing my "linage". I'm certainly not a king or a lord that stands to inherit a nation so I don't care at all about my last name.

And the hope that one day when you get old, you can count on your children to take care of you....

shhhheeeeeeooooooooot........

Go to a retirement home and you can witness those hopes and dreams fall apart, your children would be more likely to jokey for position in your will and squabble over who is going to get the bigger cut of your investments or who is going to seize ownership of your other homes and assets.

I'm just being realistic. But someone needs to make them....Of course someone needs to create the next generation of tax-paying wage slaves, or ex-cons.

It's just not going to be me.

im not saying ill never have kids but the way the world is today.....it just keeps getting shittier and shittier with every decade that comes around im not sure if its worth it.

all im saying is im enjoying being a single, lates 20's guys with no kids, i have so many friends that are my age and wish they had the freedom i have. one day i might meet a chick and its worth getting married to and having lil chadbee's, its not impossible but right now its not likely......
