Ok so the thing is...My sis is finally giving me a thousand dollars that she owes me in a week and a half. http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif BUT, I just bought an s13 and will be moving this weekend. And I have wayyyy too many options to choose from since it will be free cash that doesnt neccessarily need to go towards something. What do YOU think I should do?!??!
1) Lower the Accord and add H.I.D. and rims
2) Get my passport for $160 so I can travel international this summer
3) Get the body work done to the s13 Hatch and then paint
4) Get new rims for the s13 and/or H.I.D.'s
5) Save $500 more and have a buddy install a turbo kit on the s13
6) Pay insurance for coming months
7) Go to Ikea and buy new bedroom furniture
or...8) Just pocket the cash...
Your advice is very appreciated as I have no idea what to do. Btw...keep in mind some of these options can be done together if affordable. Thanks for the suggestions. http://www.6thgenaccord.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif -SwK

you come to a car forum, and ask other options than parts for your car.......interesting.
i would say option option 5 pending you have suspension on the thing. if not, get some suspension

IMO you should see this as an opportunity to set aside the money without it affecting any of your finances.
give that money to me.. :ninja:

Thanks...i think I may just save it. and...e30pwr this is my first post, I believe, but im always on here not logged in looking for parts. Everyone either has what Im interested in sold, or I just dont find what I want. (Actually in the process of finding a nice set of 4 lug wheels[16,17's]) <--If the price is right I will buy

nah, i was referring to you giving the options out of your list that aren't for the car(s). finding parts sometimes can be a pain

Do whatever has the highest reward. A fresh paint job done right will have a higher return than a set of wheels.
I have an Integra you can buy for $500, invest $300-400 in it, and easily sell for over $2000. That's called doubling your money.

Get the passport, and put the rest of the money in the bank. Always keep a passport handy, even if you do not plan to go out of the country anytime soon. It is good for identification, and for emergency trips.

Passport, and bank.
Then save your money. Always good to have an emergency fund.

Passport get my vote. Then save the rest for either emergency, or set some aside to travel this summer like you have mentioned. Traveling is much easier when your younger, plus its lots of fun and rewarding in many ways.
