What lady in the red dress? KeK.

This is a repost, but.....the first post was nowhere near as polished and refined as this one so I will award this one....a positive rep for finding the good photos of it.

I'd rock one if my underpants were made of gold!

Honestly, if memory serves me wirte, it's arond 40k. Stupid high for that, but if you got money to be looking at Aston Martins.. you can afford it.

The interior on them is hella pimp too.

Or you could pay $11-12k for the iQ and mod the hell out of it.

Does any of you realize Aston Martin will not sell you this car unless you already own a REAL Aston Martin?

This is similar to the Fiat 500 loaner you'd be given if your Ferrari was in service.

http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2008/07/01_fiat_500_ferrari_450op.jpg

Or better yet, the Abarth 695 "Tributo Ferrari" which luckily can be bought by the general (Italian) public.

btw....nothing wrong on my end about the lifestyle in those pics.

I don't know man. It makes sense to me.

Imagine you have a fully disposable income, and your hot trophy wife wants a cute little Aston to drive, just like yours. So you drop $30k on this, and she's happy for a few months.

Or.

You want a car that is easily maneuverable in the city, and you're one of the 95% of Exotic owners that buy cars just to stand out. Why would you spend $18k on a smart when you can spend $30k on this. It's the same reason the guy bought an Aston Martin instead of a Corvette.

It caters to the lifestyle. It's perfect. They'll sell every single one of them.

Think of it this way. The new Mini was seen as a fashion item when it came out. So, you had people owning very expensive cars also owning Minis.

See here for example.

Haha, the rich kids are dippin their pockets in the smart car game. Nah I couldn't rock this. Looks like someone fused a big mouth bass and a smart car. I love most of AM stuff, but this is worthless

I see what you're saying...but it just doesn't make sense to me. I guess it's because it's never been done before. Whenever I think of premium compact cars, the BMW 318ti and the Mercedes C-Class Sportcoupe come to mind. I guess those do just fine in Europe...so yea, that makes sense.

Never would've thought Aston Martin would've done it though. The car looks so cartoony...haha, like a caricature of an Aston.

As are most car shoots at that level. No surprise. Could you pull that off that seamlessly?

I'm just not all that surprised by it. It looks like typical car ad photography.

A vehicle shot in a studio and then pasted into a location.

I know I couldn't do it that well, but maybe that's just me.

*but your "magnets" reference did make me lol.

I'm sure it is a hell of a lot nicer than any Smart Car or Scion. I don't think Aston Martin would stamp their name on an overpriced little baby car, it must have a nice interior or something lol. But regardless it's gay. I wouldn't drive one.
