just got a 99 prelude with h22a1 motor
few questions
1. what is the actually whp for a stock one? only coldair and exhaust
2.which could potentially unlock more power for cheaper...all motor? or forced induction? i know on some motors, all motor is quicker and easier to do but personally a fan of forced induction

may have a few later, will add more if i have any

now u prolly @~160ish, you should build your black and low comp pistons and have good reliable boost, the stock head should be fine unless you want to build it too

h22a1 is from a 93-96 4th gen and few 97 5th gen preludes.
Your motor probably was swapped in.
Should be a h22a4.

I went to mainstream about a year ago when I was stock, did 3 passes on their dyno with my h22a1 with intake and header. Put down 175.89whp

Once you open up the H...your reliability goes wayyyyyy down. Leave it be unless you love spending money.

my opinion, go with a JDM H22a swap, clutch, lightweight flywheel and call it a day.
i dont know how many whp would it have, but i goes that setup and i've kept up with 350z's :)
