i own it! it takes a lot to get used to because ive beem playing cod for so long!!

but it is fun!, kinda hard to get kill streaks due to all the snipers hiding and picking you off and the tanks blowing you up constantly!

Mag sucked IMO. I've been playing army of two 40th day and while it's not as good as codmw2 it's a lot of fun and I enjoy it.

The first bad company I did the same thing . I compared it to codmw and at first I was dissapointed. But then I just accepted it was a different game and in the end I really enjoyed it.

Problem is we get spoiled by cod games and let's face it few games compare. Codmw2 was so good it will take gears of war 3 or resistance 3 to challenge it on campaign mode.

We may not see a competitor on the online play until codmw3

Lets put it this way, put COD MW2, MAG, So com all together and more you have Battlefield BC2 but better graphics... just saying lol. Cool thing about it you have to use strategy w/ the kind of kit you use to be successful. Dont go running in to defuse a bomb w/ a sniper rifle equiped lol a guy w/ a automatic assault weapon will take you out, but you have knives that can take out a guy in one blow if close enough. You do get a cool handgun when using the sniper kit so you can throw that out if going in. Oh ya great part of the game you can blow anything up... after a building gets major holes in it from explosions you can blow the whole building up, and this is for most any building in the game. Trees in your way, hahaha blow them down for better sniping view.

I think I will be ordering this for the pc today. I always enjoyed the other Battlefields so I'm sure this one won't disappoint me. I checked out the p walk through they got posted on there website and it sold me even more.

I think the campaign is ok, not great not bad. The multiplayer is pretty amazing though. Not in the sense that it feels or plays better than MW2, but it just feels more intense: huge open maps with bullet tracers flying all over the place, helicopters swooping in for strafing runs, tanks blowing up, buildings collapsing, etc.

MW2 multi is "Holy shit, look at how much of a beast I am."

BF is like "Holy shit, how am I still alive?"

I say it's 9/10 on campaign. The graphics aren't as crisp as cod but it makes up for that with the open worlds and the 19294848 different vehicles and weapons you can commandeer. From helicoptors to boats atvs jeeps transports etc

the physics engine is better than cod IMO. The weapons REALLY kick when you fire them, the damage to the buildings is near perfect. They basically took all that was wrong in the first game and made it better.

I can't see how anyone that likes of COD couldn't like this game.

The multiplayer is VERY squad based, teamwork is a must. I think that's why most hardcore cod players don't like it. Like I said, cod is more about killing as many people as you can, in BF killin feels more like a fight for survival everytime.

IDK man, I used to be a hardcore pc player but consoles are just easier. I just built an $800 machine in august but I barely even touch it. With a controller I can just lay in bed, push 1 button and I'm in a game. PC is still better for some games (like anything valve comes out with) but most games are tailored for consoles now.

These large maps are nothing new to the TRUE Battlefield community. This is what we were brought up on. COD junkies are in for major adjustment, as MachNU has found out, by the way Mach I need to get at you for a detail.

I wish the maps were a little bigger like bad company 1. These seem smaller. It also takes forever to level up... I love getting those super long range headshots with the M24 though. The fact that all the other sniper rifles don't have a mil-dot reticle scope just pisses me off.

You can unlock the 4x and 12x scope. Those will make you happy :D

Yeah campign is boring as hell and real simple. After the first few levels I just started skipping the movie scenes.

Though a note on multiplayer...i fucking wreck it with the sniper rifles. I am already level 12 and used nothing but sniper rifles. I think this is the first game that actually takes in account for the fall of the bullet and where you actually have to shot ahead of a moving target to hit them.

Ya prone would be nice, but I think the unfluidity of the characters makes the game more realistic. In cod players have almost zero momentum and you move like the ground is smooth as glass. BF makes it feel like your character actually uses legs to move.

I saw someone posted bad physics on characters in this game. Well I admit alot of it is sort of off, but holy cow I shot someone in the head and they flew and did flips over a wall and I busted out laughing like WTF WOW LOL. Sometimes the physics can be so funny it really isnt all that bad really.

Here are the 8 maps, also try playing squad rush mode, and capture the flags, they are different from rush mode. 2 maps are only used for the conquest mode which I suppose is the flag game mode not sure though.

Why do people compare COD w/ BF2 lol two different games. COD is more run and gun arcade style imo BF2 takes more strategical gameplay to do good. If you dont strategize against my gameplay you will get headshotted everytime or mortared lol. I have done like a 20+ and 3 game plenty of times.

BTW on PS3 i say BF2 graphics are better than MW2.
