My cousin has a 2002 IS300 5 speed with the following,
Mizzuri (SP) long tubes
Ltw flywheel
SRT intake
full exhaust
and IIRc a cam gear

I was wondering if it would be worth it to tune the car on a dyno to beat some power out of it as the car has lots of stuff but no real tune. Let me know, thanks

It would be worth it to tune the car. Do you have a safc to tune it with?

He has nothing but the piggyback that came with the SRT to adjust fuel I believe..

That piggyback works pretty good to compensate for the diameter change in the intake pipe. Unfortunately, it doesn't compensate for the other mods. An safc would be the best.

^^ Agreed. The R-ECU that comes with the SRT is basically adjusted according to only the SRT intake and not accomponied by any other mod really. THe SAFC allows you to maximize tuning for all mods INCLUDING the SRT.
SAFC > RECU

We have gotten 211 whp out of our employee's IS300 with vitually the same mods. He has an S-AFC 2.
