I was thinking this year we need to crash a car show or something. I am not much of a car show person but I think it would be fun if we crashed a typical muscle car/ classic car show with all our classic imports. So if anyone has any ideas of what show we should crash, speak up. Or maybe this is a lost cause of an idea. No worries otherwise.

Later, JL.

Hmmmm.

I agree. I've often thought about taking the car to some show this year. I'm definitely in, dude.

And did you get my PM about my address? Later, QD.

^^^ Exactly. Every show I've ever been to in the recent years has never really had any old imports in attendance. If some of us head out and show off ours, it could introduce some people to this part of the automotive hobby. Later, QD.

That would be fun. Every friday in the summer, there used to be a little hot-rod meet at a Zaxby's in Powder springs. I used the drive thru there with my B210. These guys where not impressed, they made a point to look away and stare at a krager wheel or anything else until i vacated the area!

I almost died laughing.:lmfao:

Life is good Jared.

I know it is early for the show season but I know there is typically one at the hooters in Kennesaw, atleast twice a year. Anyone else know of any?
I am also contemplating the lowrider scene too? I think there was an event at Gwinnett Fairgrounds last year?

Just found that one: Southeast Showdown Lowrider show.

Dude, simple.

Year One event up in Braselton, GA. They're monthly, and the first upcoming one should be soon.

You CANT beat this in terms of a monthly turn out. So, there's one this month. They have a show every 3rd Saturday, where around 300 muscle cars show up. Their facilities are top notch, and it's just great being around such a variety of classics.

Im down, you jus tell me where and when and the troops will be rallied. We will be sure to bring every obnoxiously loud rotary powered car in the group!

I want to do this but crashing is not what I want to do. I like old muscle and hot rods almost as much as I love my Datsun. I can't tell you how many times I have been in the dime and compliment some one driving some muscle car and find out they use to ride around in a datsun back in high school. So lets accompany them, not clash.

I don't think he meant crash like a high school party. I assume he means lets all get together and go to one of the classic car shows. Later, QD.

That's what I meant. I think our cars are classics just like there's. I don't want to piss anyone off, but I want to go out and have a good time because I like old chevy's and fords too.

The Year One thing sounds like a good idea. Oh and some loud ass rotaries on crack sound good too.

The asap thing doesn't sound like a bad idea but I was looking for something more geared towards classic chevy's and fords.

So the Braselton Bash? I promise you guys, there is a LOT of classic muscle there. You will NOT be disappointed.

In addition to that, its a high volume show as in there are tons of spectators. Really, it's win win. You're going to show off your car, who cares about what else there is to do in the area. There's some great BBQ up in Braselton too.

I need an Old School car. I am pretty much set on getting a reliable DD and then buy a 1st gen Celica or 510. I would love to roll deep to a show.
