I praise Hawaii and there very well planned evacuation plan. It seemed like everyone was safe with time to spare.

Even if they thought it could be bad, they did the right thing.

It wasn't the news it was the people who read that type of stuff.

It's always better to prepare for the worst. In this case they definitely had every reason to believe it could be bad.

You didn't hear? One of the smaller islands on the east side of Hawaii is completly under water. It wasn't a very populated island though.
