Installed some coilovers today, and I was smart enough to drop the pass side strut on the cv joint right under it....Also, when taking the drivers side struts out I took the strut-to-spindle bolts out and right as I did that the strut piston expanded, which caused the bottom of the strut to come down and hit the drivers side cv joint

After finally installing the new coilovers(and hoping my axles were ok), putting the wheels, on, lower car, check ride height, raise car, adjust coilovers, lower car, checj ride height and doing that 5 times my car now sits pretty. Upon starting it up and driving it out of my driveway it was confirmed that my axles are fuked, and i am about to head to autozone for some new ones....

cliffs:

-managed to break both pass and drivers side axles while installing coilovers = costly and pain in the ass mistake

Flame suit on....go!

If you really think no one had a day worse than yours, then you really are retarded.

This is the exact reason why I pay people to do things like this.

Shit happens man. I don't see anything wrong with working on your own car and learn some stuff.

It happens. It aint that bad to do the axles in that car.

Eh shit happens. I've fucked up plenty of things trying to install something I've never done before. Being incredibly angry is part of the modding process.

Someone got a permanent STD on the same day you went through all of that. They WISH their day was like yours.

I'd rather make the mistake, at least maybe then you know what not to do for next time and you wont have to pay anything :)
