The Domestic Alliance Creed

Here ye brothers united in American Muscle, we are forming a new movement amongst the sea of import tuners. We are the new generation of V8 owners (some quick 6ers) that dared to be different. This united brotherhood has no bounds, no limitations on what we can do, for without us there would be no balance in the world. From nitrous , to turbo , to superchargers, to naturally aspirated fire breathing monsters. So come one, come all in those that love the beautiful symphony of a tuned V8, for those that believe in no replacement for displacement, we shall worship under the House of Torque!

Here is where we hold our discussions of the future, and spreading the gospel of a higher displacement.

To join up just put " IA DOMESTIC ALLIANCE SUPPORTER!" in your sigs! I will have sigs made soon!

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS MEANT TO BE FOR FUN ONLY, ANY DISRESPECT TO OTHER DRIVERS/MEMBERS (EVEN IMPORTS) WILL NOT BE TOLERATED

Higher displacement? Neither of you have even 5 liters of displacement.

So? Small block or Big, it doesnt matter. Your point?

Compared to a ~97 cubic inch Honda 1.6...yeah id say it was higher.

I always understood Mustangs to be pony cars, not muscle cars. Also, I don't remember anything below 300 cu in being available in a muscle car. Some had 6 cyls available in a base model, but that kind of killed it being a muscle car. Ford pony cars had 260's and 289's available, but they weren't considered muscle cars.

Now, modern pony cars can leave old muscle cars sitting easily, but it's hard to beat the rumble of a big block muscle car.

Can I join this movement...

This whole thing is just for fun, its not serious at all. If you like anything with a V8 or fast american car, then by all means feel free :)

Some people just get opinionated though, so I just thought id throw that out there :)

yea, ls1 with 241 heads and a t56....my understanding is that the bodies were assembled in Australia and sent over with no drive train, the drivetrains were installed at factories here and then sent out to the dealers
