already been searching caigslist like a mad man! i found a few possible candidates, just gotta make some calls!
if i do go with a different motor, i was thinking bout GSR or H22 if i can get a smokin deal on one or the other! but if it comes down to it i would settle for a B18.....

If you are building a cheap car, then go with what you can get free or cheap on the engine. If a D will get you there, then run it.

if you're looking for a DD, keep the almighty, 70hp, 4500 redline, D serious.

i was reffering to the GSR motor, if i was speaking of the regular B18 i would have said B18!

First of all I'd like to say congratulations!
Secondly... From personal experience... If it's going to be your DAILY DRIVER, Spend as little money on it as possible. Like the guy said above, if it gets you where you want to go, the go with that. Then take all that fabulous money that you just saved... and put it into your WEEKEND CAR! Since you plan on having two, might as well make the fun one MORE fun. Just mho.

yeh my thoughts exactly! from the way its looking i can possibly get all this done for under 1k if i stick with the Dseries! i dont think ill dump alot of money into this car! just enough to personalize the car....i dont really like driving bone stock cars!
you did just say B18 :headslap:
the guy was saying the GSR is a B18, i said it in a way to keep to two separate cause i do know that a GSR is differnt from a regular B18......
