what is the max hp can a d16y8 auto tranny hold?
and a 5sp hold?

300 maybe is whay ive heard before but i'm not an expert, i know that's when you have to upgrade axles etc is around that range.

auto cannot handle more than 200..and even 200 is ALOT..i was only pushing 110 IF THAT!
i had the auto tranny..idc what anyone says, that tranny held up well against all the abuse...but dont push too much power thru it cuz it will shit out on you! lulz

don't even think about it, if your car is auto, buy a 5speed car or go through the hassle of switching to manual...

yea the auto is deff not made to handle alot, a 5 speed could handle more. you would prob snap some axles and blow the tranny if it's an auto with too much power.
