heard his condition was pretty bad, though with his freak genetics he might have been able to miraculously heal or regrow part of his intestine, but this doesn't seem likely.

Ya they said he had a hole in his intestine from drinking to much bad milk or something. He had stuff going into his body cavity which could have killed him, but ya glad he's back and getting ready to fight.
