guys, i need some info. im going to a party tomorrow and it will encompass glow sticks being used while dancing, yes rave style. im taking pictures for my best friend at his bday party well i want to be able to make sure that i get them good cause he really wants some pics of that. can you help me out and tell me hat might be a good setting on the the camera while in manual? i was told to have th iso low at about 100 and F16. anything else?

I believe if you're in a low light environmentand want to capture glowsticks you want to up the iso not lower it, but not too high or the pics will be too noisy. Also, you want a slow shutter speed paired with a high f stop on your lense....

I could be wrong though as I am no photographer...just experiment there are so many ways to do it

i just asked my photographer friend and she said 100 is fine.

trails...and i figured it out....i put it on manual... put the shutter to about 13. and the apiteure to 16 and it i got the trails im lookin for.

im lazy....i used shutter priority when i did it a few times.

Thanks man! I typically use Shutter Priority mode too.
