In case you live under a rock the story is here

Did his suicide web post and reasoning seem lucid?
Or was it the rantings of a mad man? Suicide note .PDF is here (http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2010/images/02/18/stack.letter.pdf)

He's an idiot. Some crazy guy crashing a plane into an IRS building isn't going to change anything about how they operate.

Probably pushed over the edge by Glenn Beck or Alex Jones.
When I read "Austin TX," I was kind of hoping it would be Jones himself. He needs to put his money where his mouth is instead of talking shit. :lmfao:

Yeah, it's real sane to kill yourself by crashing a plane into a building because you have beef with the IRS. Some of you might remember the last time planes crashed into buildings and we called it terrorism. Well just so you know, terrorism can be domestic also.
This guy was clearly not OK.

Rational, logical thinking would not blame either liberals or conservatives. It appears that the IRS (a non-political government organization) is what had him upset.
Why are you trying to tie this to a political affiliation?

Have you seen some of the anti-IRS/anti Fed stuff Jones rants about? The far right HATES the IRS.

Haven't bothered to read his rantings myself, and don't plan to.
EDIT: ABC News listed some of the stuff from his memo. Seems he was anti-Bush, and not a right-winger at all.
Do you think that the far left enjoys working to send a large portion of their income to the IRS?
I have yet to find anyone on the left or right who actually enjoys giving their money to the IRS. ;)
I thought the far right merely wanted to receive services equal to the compensation that they were paying. :taun:

This guy hated the right as much as the left he was all over the place. Beck disagrees (as 90% of America does) with POrtions of the tax code not the entire system. His main grievance is how people in power can dodge the tax system like daschle and geittner and get away with no interest and penalties but average citizens get cleaned out.
Alex jones thinks the IRS is unconstitutional because no law permits the creation or collection of an indirect tax. Which he's right to a point but he doesn't advocate violence either.
To blame this on someone other than the man himself is dismissive and ignorant

This is not a partisan issue. The guy didn't do this because of/ or against Barry Obama or George Bush. He did this because he was crazy. He burned down his and his family's house, and committed suicide/homicide. Regardless of how he did it, suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. People who kill themselves are selfish, inconsiderate pricks, and this guy is no different. He decide to take others with him and leave his family without a home. Yeah, real stand up of him.
Take the politicians and the news out of it, and you have what he really was, an angry, insane disgruntled American, nothing more, nothing less.
