I'm sure someone will grill me for saying it, but the shit on ebay is probably made in the same chinese sweatshop as the NRG ones.

I have an SFI certified quick release. That means it has been through rigorous testing to make sure that it performs properly. That means that it WILL release when it is supposed, but NOT release when it decides to not work anymore. You would be better to leave the factory installed nut on the steering wheel IMO. Nothing like going into a tight turn and you pull slightly on the steering wheel without even thinking about it and POP, it is in your hands, but not connected to the steering shaft anymore and you are in a ditch, other car, tree, eventually casket or whatever.

I ran a ebay quick release and a ebay steering wheel in my CRX and never had any problems with both. I had the wheel on my car for 3 years and it was still in great shape when I cold my car.

I can vouch for this, I sold the car a few weeks ago....the guy blew the motor btw LOL.

Like he said, it's been on the car for numerous years and I had it for a few months...no problems with the hub/steering wheel, I always took it off, never fell off.

2 of my friends have 1. On my friends crx, the "quick realease" button came off and for some reason we had trouble putting on the steering wheels ad getting it lock. My other friend has the same kind as my friend in the crx and his is doing pretty well. The button is stil in place and seems good. But like they say, you get what u pay for and I wouldn't trust my life in the hands of a 50 quick release. Jus sayin.

quick releases are for race cars, not show cars...keep your stock stuff and stop trying to be something you aren't

I know you have a honda, but look on zilvia.net the companies on there have TONS of group buys and you can get something more legit and something worth the $$ for your car.

a friend of mine has a ebay quick release/wheel and he hates it.
