Yesterday i bought some skunk2 pro s coilovers from him, he said he forgot the keys to them at home and he would bring them to me this morning, well a buddy of mine brought me some keys to unlock them and all of them are blown. I'v tried contacting him last night and all this morning trying to get my money back, he refused to text me back or reply to my pm's. I thought the guy was a reputable guy but found out he's a scam artist like alot of these dudes on IA, i will never buy anything from him again, so people beware he might scam u.

sucks man. thats what happens when you dabble into used suspension i guess......most sellers are upfront about it though. getting them rebuilt will be a little under 100 each i guess.......at that point you could have got them new.....but i hate to say it but thats the situation you put yourself into when you bought them used.they are only under warranty for the first buyer.you as the second buyer has to pay to get them fixed. thats the way the suspension game is.

I got a key to unlock the coil when the strut is pushed down it stays it does not gradually go up or anything, that's how I know there blown

Usually a blown strut it's the opposite, it springs back really easily almost like it's loose. Although a blown strut could also compress and not rebound too.

Is there any fluids on it? Cylinder leak?

No oil on it, the strut doesn't rebound at all, it is blown.

I agree with mike and say you guys should take them to a shop to see if they are infact blown if they are andrew should pay the cost to have them looked at. Struts are blown I seen them when I got off work,They dont rebound at all struts are still down.:thinking:From when he compressed them yesterday???Think think think before you say some shit.Friend that works for NTB looked at them and said the seals could be gone.But im sure he has no problem getting somebody unbiased to check them and im sure the results will be the same.But anyways plus the coils looked like they had been locked in same position for a while because dirt and how hard they were locked.But what do I know I just work at Pep Boys.;)

I didnt inspect the coilover when i took them out because I knew they are good. I jus took them out n went to meet up wid him on same day. I supposed to take them out before next day I meet him but I went to see my girl on valentine day. I knew they are good because i had them on my integra on sat before VALENTINE DAY.
