"Untuned"

I see a lot of videos with cars listed as "untuned".
Either your car is in an A/F range that the engine is happy with, or it isn't.
If your car is not running right - don't race it - go get it tuned.
If your car is running right, and good enough to race, then it isn't "untuned", it just might not be at the optimal setup.

The reality is, if you are good enough to run, then it is unlikely that you will suddenly be much faster if you retune the car. So quit using "untuned" - because anyone that is claiming that is just looking to have an excuse ready for when they lose. :2cents:

lol... hmm idk... i might have to think this is worse.... because stock cars ECUs are programed with a base tune... not really tuned individually

ehhh...in my case the car was tuned on 100dry shot, it now has 150 wet and according to afr readings its rich....still went 10.98 on that tune

i picked up my kirkey and 200 jets today....filing taxes tonight so i should have it back in a week or so and i'll be buying hp asap and getting on the dyno

i know i have stated my car as untuned before. i put C16 in it on a pump gas map and just turned the boost up some. I wouldn't consider it tuned for the fact that it was a different fuel and boost level. just my opinion.

Funny thing is only people driving imports use that word. Most guys with muscle making any type of power know you don't race an untuned car, especially FI.

ask yourself this... do you have enough money for a new motor? if answer is yes... GET A FUCKING TUNE!!! if answer is no then ask yourself ... do you have enough money for a tune? if answer is yes THEN GET A FUCKING TUNE, then you can got on your mtn run and street race or whatever you want to do with it. if answer is no... then you shouldn't be driving it...
