anyone know of a good shop to swap a LS motor into a Porsche 944?

I decided not to go the spec class route and instead just build a beefy 944 for the street and track....

This company does a kit... http://www.renegadehybrids.com

i just dont think i trust myself with the labor soooo..... who does these kinda swaps?

thanks... posted up in their forum for a quote.

I got the car as a gift from my GF and since i didnt have to pay for it I really want to do something special with it... even if it takes 3+ years to build. I could pick up a used LS motor and strip it down... spend a year re-building....boosting... polishing...

I think its time I really put some $$$ and time into a car if yall know what i mean.... the honda was a might fine lookin car but was lacking everything under the hood.... the MR2 was simply fast as sheeeot but the quality just wasnt there. My Z4 was a mistake....

so yeah... build picts will be up once weather gets nicer... in the mean time i do have 1 or 2 picts on my phone i'll post.

Well our 350 is getting a LS6 as we speak. My 240 is getting one right after that. Blog on the progress here: http://batlground.com/blog/?cat=14

Projected to be done in March. We are trying to add more V8's to our resume. They are the future! LOL. I'm also pretty sure Dan has done a few LS swaps already.

all it takes is fab skills....can't be that bigga deal

if you're stuck in atlanta hit up the major shops and see if they want to take on a project like this, if they don't i'm sure they can steer you in the right direction

try to get your hands on an LS3 if you can. They are mod friendly as fuck. Full bolt ons and a nice cam with a good tune will get you 500rwhp....I couldn't imagine that in a 2600lb car...
