my guess would be the flywheel actually. They tend to go crazy when people adjust the rev limiter on an SRT-4 that normally only have to rev to a pitiful 5.4K RPM redline, so they're only rated to liek 6K (haha Rx-7s 10.5 K rpm flywheels and clutches). So what happened in this video was that since the clutch was slipping the whole time, he glazed the flywheel, allowing the engine to rev up to the limiter with no resistance, then the stress and heat, weakened the shityy 6k RPM rated flywheel, and made it a 4K RPM rated flywheel, then continued to spin it at 5.5K which is past its rating, and BOOM! Flywheel chunks through the hood. In a worst case scenario, it could have decided to fly backwards and go through the firewall and kill him but the dumbass probably doesn't realize he is that lucky.

More then likely on an SRT is the flywheel, I've seen it happen a couple of times when high reving... And I don't think the tires were spinning in that video too, all SRT's even the ones without LSD will spin both tires in a straight line:lmfao:.......

Right when I saw the hood bend, I knew it was the flywheel. Stupid fucking loser. The window is busted out, your trying to do a burnout down hill in a neighborhood, this kid was destined to fail from birth. Oh, BTW, it's not an SRT-4.
