I am getting ready to order my coilovers for my Del Sol and I have a problem deciding which one i want to get.The choices are the Function & Form type2 full coilovers or the D2 racing full coilovers. The car is gonna be used for occasional track use and be driven on the street. If anybody has any input it is greatly appreciated.

I've never had any experience with functions... But I have had D2's on my old EH hatch. I highly recommend them. Great suspension. I'm actually fixing to order them for my bimmer.

i dunno man. i would never in a million years buy coilovers with dampners or anything like that unless i was hardcore about it. like my 240 has coilovers with dampner. but thats because i have one sole purpose for that car and its drifting. now my daily has kyb struts and lowering springs which is perfect for daily and has a pretty good stiff set up for every now and then when i take a corner. but if you have to get some get these

Also look into Koni Yellow shocks with Ground Control coilovers. Look up THMotorsports. I dunno about your car, but for mine with custom spring rate its $799 shipped.

May wanna do some searching too, there are a bunch of thread on here alone talking about the same question you asked.

yeah i considered the koni's and GC but i want a monobody coilover because I'm probably gonna do autox every once in a while. And what from what i have heard the gc/koni is a great setup

Ive known of a couple folks who use the Koni/GC setup for track/street and love it. Plus the reviews on the webz are nothing but good.

What more adjustments do you need? You just said you're dd the car and rarely actually autox'n it. So why do you need 827428746264286 settings if you're not racing every day? GC+Yellows is WAAAAY more than what you need for a DD car.

(Just admit that you want monobody coilover because you're a ricer and think they are cool LOL)

Just make sure you read reviews before you buy anything so you dont end up wasting money. Also take into account how long the company has been around...AND warranty.

yeah I am definitely gonna read reviews and think about warranties and all. Thats why I posted this thread is to get input and see if anyone on here has ran these coilovers on their cars

I've always ran cheap coilovers(ebay) with good struts, that always road and handled good for me... But that was for the street so idk about track....
