Fast & Furious... 5?!

February 4, 2010 - Fast Five -- that's what Universal is calling the fifth installment of the Fast and the Furious series -- is happening. And yes, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker will be back for the film, as will director Justin Lin and producer Neal Moritz.

According to Variety, Chris Morgan is also back, writing the film -- he previously worked with Lin on the third and fourth pictures in the ever-profitable series. The story for Five will find "Dom (Diesel) and Brian (Walker) as fugitives being pursued by relentless lawmen."

I remember when I was like 16 apparently I forgot to pay a ticket so a cop came to my house looking for me and my mom told him I wasn't there and he left. I've been in to automotive since a little kid, shoot when I was a wee one I used to love those micro machines lol. So what im saying is I would still be in the scene w/ out the movie. I actually like the movies though and Im glad they will be coming out w/ more. It was funny me and my friends were watching FF IV last night drinking beers before we went out and said im sure they will be a V movie. Might not be for awhile but it will come lol.

I was in the sixth grade when the first came out. Never got to see it in theaters I think because of football practice and games. My brother bought it on dvd and I must of watched it 8 times that night. I had always been into cars thanks to my dad but this just fueled the fire more. Third one is still the best.

The F&F movies I have seen (1 & 2) are completely awful. I haven't found any of my friends who will watch any of the rest of them with me, which keeps me from watching 3/4/5 as the only real appeal of the F&F franchise is cracking jokes about it with my friends.

I like them all b/c they highlighted something that I enjoy... automotive performance/style. 2F2F was iffy - as well as Tokyo Drift... those 2 are my least favorite. If you view it as entertainment instead of a fucking documentary you could enjoy them all.

It's just like when I watch a military movie and a Sgt. says something like "with all due respect Gerneral you can kiss my ass sir" I go "yeah, okay --- that would never happen." I know this bc I spent 8 years in the military. Hollywood always has to put Hollywood's spin on shit... smile at it and keep it moving is my opinion.

If you know a subject really well, movies will ALWAYS suck. So people hate watching movies w/ me about cars, aviation, martial arts or the military b/c I take the fun out of it by calling their bluff and making it less believable for people that are watching with me - and who wants some1 running around buzz-killin' them when they are just tryna relax for a coupla hours and watch a movie? I woldn't like it either - LOL
