I work at a Kauffman Tire and while we don't carry Nitto, I do see more Corvettes, Mustangs, and other performance domestics with the BFG KDWs. They get a lot of road noise compliments.
Both tires are comparable on paper, but my personal preference would be the KDW.

I have the NT-555 on my G35's Daily/Track set. They're great for street and aggressive driving. Not noisy, tend to be on the "soft & comfy" side (compared to my Toyo T1R). Not the best deal on long track session since they tend to loose grip after 20 mins of hot laps. Then again, these weren't made for the track, so I didn't expect them to hold up any longer than that. But I lasted a full track day with hardly any tread wear at all.
I can't say anything about the BFGoodrich g-force T/A KDW because I haven't own them.

owned them both, and the nitto lasted longer, neither got me any traction under 60 but i was making a good bit of tq, if you can sacrafice about 10k miles on the tire life get the kdw2, the look better, get better traction etc...

I looked at those BFG's, ended up going with Toyo T1R's. I'm happy with them so far, let me know how the BFG's do.

I rocked those BFG's on the Mach for the last 16,000 or so before I totalled it and they lasted awesome. I was not kind to them and they still had plenty of life left.

I am personnaly rocking the nittos on my truck, and will probably always keep them on my vehicles. Real quite, great traction, and good ride for a semi-low profile. I mean they ride a bit softer than some other tires, don't seem as hard going over bumps and stuff. But I have never had any of the bfg so can't compare, this just my opinion of the nittos.

so far guys, i'm loving the bfg's. especially in the snow! haha they're not breaking traction as long as i'm careful with the throttle. they hook up nicely with very little wheelspin. i hope they deliver the same performance afteri have a few thousand miles on them.

i had those bfg's on my mach 1 and they were done after like 9k miles with no burnouts, i felt ripped off. I like my nitto nt05s a lot better but who knows how long these will last

I've had both and both have pretty good grip, but my Nitto's lasted longer....

had both. nitto made less road noise compared to bfg. i would tend to slide a little with the nitto in the rain. BFG lets you hit corners hard in the rain. I would definitely go w/ bfg

Why didn't you bother with the KDW2's? They're probably the best street tire, including wet driving, period.

The nitto's work really well when they have some heat in them. i think that harder you drive on them the better they perform.

Bfgs i would say but nittos are more rough ride.. i have put both of them on and pretty much any tire on a car i used to work at National tire battery.. i know i havent followed the whole conversatiton but it all depends on how u want the ride to feel and what u plan on doin wit them if u want superior traction but dont care about total life i would say michelin pilot sport a/s plus --- awesome tire

They are pretty good. Of the two you mentioned, I would gamble that they are better. To be honest, I have not tried the other ones. Of course, I broke the bank and went back to Bridgestone finally and I am pleased even more now, but KDW2 is a great tire.
