Do they require a code? GF of mines broke looking at a stock replacement online and was just wondering if they require a code.

Most stock head units do.

yea but some dont. the one in my scion doesnt

even if it does, just right down the serial number and call up honda.

they do, but not hard to acquire the code if the seller doesn't have it.

I usually just take a pic of the sticker on the top of the radio and post it in the forums on Hondatech and someone always post the code...

The dealer trys to charge you for the code if you're not a shop sometimes...
