It was from parts that the owner supplied. The piping & such was done by R&D. It was only finished this weekend & will be cleaned up by the owner......:goodjob:

Why do you say that? Because the turbo is rusted out?

boost + plastic intake manifold??

Why not? I am sure the intake manifold is made out of high grade. But ballooning might be an issue, but nothing to stress about. Hell I ran ABS plastic tubing from Lowes for my charge piping, and did it's job at 10psi. Haha

lol you could run plenty of boost on a plastic intake. in the grand scheme of things 30psi isnt very much pressure.

Are you kidding me? 30 pounds of boost on a plastic manifold?

Cavaliers burst at 12psi

must be an awfully thin manifold...it all just depends on its construction.

I dont know the specs on mazda's plastic intake mani's, but i talked to a guy from ptuning about they're tc(2azfe) with a plastic mani (scion tc IA time attack guy), he said they handle as much as they can throw at it and i think they push about 27psi of boost on theirs? he also said they flow great and unless it blows or breaks there's no reason to swap them.

What I see is a progression of pics during construction. Sometimes it is not glamourous, but the finished project looks nice! Helpful hint, WD40 will do wonders to kill the rust for pics. I know that as soon as you cycle some heat through that exhaust housing it will look better. It looks nice! Post up some numbers soon!

Why do you say that? Because the turbo is rusted out?

No, just looks like it sat outside someones house for a month of so with the hood open. Dirty IC hoses, dirty pipes, ugly turbo.

But like dude said, customer brought his own parts.

How you gonna Leave Rob out of that one, lol. THey do good work and they have excellent prices, just don't expect to sit and talk price with them they will not waste time with bench racers.
