usually if you are straight up with a cop and respectful they will let you go...act like a punk kid and they ticket you unless they are trying to make quota

i was heading down hill acknowledged the officer in the U turn lane and the light turned yellow (thought about stopping before the light but was like fk that shit nah mean? Turned red, while i went under it. Looked in my rearview at the officer knowing that she was gonna take her ass out of the turning lane and come after me - consequently, it happend.

Dialogue went kinda like this:

Reece: How are you today *smiling?
me: I'm fine, how are you *smiling?
R: I'm good, you in a hurry? *not smiling anymore
Me: (Thinks to self: why the Fk'd she stop smiling) Yeah I'm headed to a client's house to drop off an appraisal. <Truth (I was 1 min away)
R: So you went straight through that light huh?
me: Yeah I was gonna stop cause i saw you there but I kinda didn't. *smiling
R: Well I just wanted to make sure you knew that, I'm not gonna give you a ticket!
me: Really? I appreciate that
R: (Beginning to walk away)
me:What was your name?
R: officer Reese
me: Thank you!

haha thats cool, quite a awhile ago i got pulled over for not having a seat belt on, and i guess its the smiling and being honest that gets you off. here is how mine went...

Officer (smiling): now tell, me were you really wearing your seat belt before i pulled you over?
me (smiling with a small laugh as i looked down at the rushed to put on tangled position): no... (still smiling)
Officer: ok, may i see license and insurance and ill be back with you in a second.
me (stillllll smiling): yes!
Officer (coming back with a you got lucky face): well there sir! since you were honest, im going to let you off with a warning! make sure you wear it though, because there is a click it or ticket law going with 0 tolerance, so you got to be careful, have a nice day!
me (in a happier mood smiling): thanks!!!!

some cops are really nice some are really assholes

I was upset to find out the cop that got killed 19/41 not to long ago was the same cop who helped me find my 2 four wheelers that got stolen a couple of years back
(found them in buckhead)
he really helped me out alot that day.
someone i didnt even know that well helped me out so much w/o even thinkin twice about it
i just hated to see such a good person get taken away from this world
its just so rare to see someone helping a stranger so much
